Sometimes, it’s good to come to God and not ask for anything. You can simply sit in silence, or you can say thanks. At this point in my life, I figured God already knows what I need, even if I don’t.

I’m not saying never to ask for anything ever, but it’s good every now and then to let God know you’re thankful. I’m sure the Bible has a few things to say about the benefits of giving thanks, but mostly it’s good to be grateful because God is good.
