“Almighty God, 
whose blessed Son was led by the Spirit to be tempted by Satan: 

Come quickly to help us who are assaulted by many temptations; 
and, as you know the weaknesses of each of us, 
let each one find you mighty to save; 

through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, 
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, 
one God, 

now and for ever. 
Amen.“

I love that God shows up best when we are at our worst. He shows up strongest when we are at our weakest. He is mighty to save and His eyes look over the whole earth to see whose hearts are His. God in Jesus knows all about temptation. He knows all about our weakest points because He was tempted in every way that we are yet He was without sin.

Lord, be strong on behalf of those who are feeling weak and prone to temptation right now. Show yourself mighty on behalf of Your children who desire not to give in to that temptation but are wanting the way out that You promised. Keep us from sin as we keep our eyes on You. Amen.
