Faithfulness in The Little Things

I think that about covers it. I always remember the old adage that if you have a Bible that’s falling apart, that typically means that your life is not falling apart. At least you know you have a sure foundation when your world does get rocked (and it will).

To speak little and do much is to let your actions speak louder than your words. It’s to listen more than you speak because you have two ears and one mouth. It’s to live out your faith and not just speak it out.

To receive everyone with a cheerful face is to live with joy. It’s first of all to receive them in the same way that God received you when you weren’t worth receiving. It’s to love people the way God loves you (to the best that you are able).

All in all, not a bad way to live.
