Another election night has just about come and gone, so I thought I’d share some tips and reminders for you, regardless of who you voted for:
- Be kind. If you won, don’t gloat. If you lost, don’t be a sore loser. There are good and decent people on both sides of the political fence, and because someone has a different ideology doesn’t make them evil.
- There will be no more political ads for a while, especially those negative ads. That makes my heart extremely happy.
- God calls believers to honor those in positions of authority, whether you personally like them or not. Paul wrote to the early church that they should honor the emperor, who just happened to be Nero. He was much worse and corrupt than any President we’ve had. Trust me on that one.
It is the responsibility of the believers in Jesus Christ, to pray, decree and see God’s will done on earth as it is in heaven. Your post says it!
