It’s Friday night, and my brain is fried. This marks the end of the first official 5-day work week in a while.
Right now, as I type these words, I’m laying in bed with some very soothing chamber music playing on my bluetooth portable speaker through Amazon music. It’s very relaxing.
I should probably put more classical music in my mind. Especially at night when I’m needing to unwind.
So far, it’s working. I can feel those remaining tensions and stresses leaving my body, being replaced by calm. Calm is good.
I suppose it’s a little like a Sabbath.
There’s a reason God designed the Sabbath. Not to add more rules and regulations, but to provide much needed rest. No one can go 24/7/365. All of us need down time, quiet, and rest.
Preferably with a little chamber music thrown in.
