Christmas is not all about presents, though they are fun to give and receive.

Christmas is not about decorations, despite what you’ve been seeing in every store since right around Halloween.

Christmas is not about Santa Claus, reindeer, elves, or the North Pole, although they are fun to read about and imagine.

Christmas is about the birth of a baby who changed everything because this particular baby was God incarnate in the flesh, Jesus.

In the midst of the seasonal madness, it’s good to step back periodically and remember what Christmas is really all about.
