No One

“For I have every confidence that nothing—not death, life, heavenly messengers, dark spirits, the present, the future, spiritual powers, height, depth, nor any created thing—can come between us and the love of God revealed in the Anointed, Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39, The Voice).

No one. That was the mantra and the battle cry of Kairos tonight. No one.

As in “What can separate us from the love of Christ?” No one.

“Who can stand against us and condemn us?” No one.

“Who has the authority to accuse us before God?” No one.

Anyone who is in Christ, who has put his or her faith in Christ, who rests solely on Christ, is guarded by this love.

When we say “no one,” we mean “no one.” Not “no one else except you” or “no one excluding me.”

No one and nothing, not even you, can separate you from God’s love. No one.

Say it. Say it again. Repeat it until you grow weary of saying it, then say it once more. No one.

No one.
