Don’t worry. I don’t actually have that many thoughts in my head. This is my 1,927th blog and my overworked and underslept brain couldn’t think of anything more clever for a title than that.

This will be more of a random, stream-of-consciousness blog that I used to write more of back in the day. And by back in the day, I mean way back in 2013 and 2014.

Anyway, the rain finally stopped. The sun actually showed up for a brief cameo. I had almost forgotten what a blue sky looked like. Plus, people were driving closer to normal (and as close to normal as Nashville drivers are likely to get).

I donated blood through the American Red Cross today. Sure, it’s a bit of an inconvenience and (sometimes) can be a bit painful. But the benefits are more than worth the waiting and the needle pricks. You are literally saving lives with that blood. Who knows? It may be a total stranger or it may end up being someone you know. Either way, you are making a very real and very tangible difference.

I didn’t mind the wait. I had my Netflix on my iPad. The feature for the evening was Benny & Joon, one of my favorites from way back in 1993 (which still seems like five years ago to me, but that’s another story). It’s a great flick that you should check out if you haven’t already seen it. It also happens to have Johnny Depp, Mary Stuart Masterson, Aidan Quinn, Julianne Moore, AND William H. Macy (along with lots more great actors).

Also, my Red Sled is in the shop. It’s looking like it needs transmission work, which has been known to get pricey in the past. So the Get My Mac On Fund may take another hit.

But I’m not giving up so easily. Even if it means starting back at $0, I will keep at it until I am typing on my new (to me) Mac Book Pro with retina display and the big honkin’ Apple logo on the back.

It will happen, folks. It will happen.
